Final matches in the club championship and Brown. Cup events will take ptace at the Pane Golf Club this week-end. In the championship F. Dobbie will meet S. Duncan over 36 holes, the morning round commencing at 9.30 a.m. In the Brown Cup final C. Ward will meet J. R. Murray and the issue in both cases is very open. The new holders of the Dryland Cup, G. Montgomery and R. Wilkins, win meet their first challengers in A. S. Fearnley and J. Broad. A. S. Fearnley and Miss M. Carr will defend the Lunken Cup against Mrs. Williams and J. McMillan. The semi-finals of the championship matches were played last weekend by members of the Park Ladies' Golf Club.

In the senior section Mrs. Tureia defeated Mrs. Lunken. and Miss McGhee defeated Miss M. Haisman. In Die junior section Miss Winter defeated Mrs. Bayliss, and Mrs. Clark beat Miss Popple. The results of the first round of the Senior Handicap were as follows: Miss Gordon d. Miss M. Haisman; Miss Preston d. Mrs. Halbert; Mrs. Lunken d. Miss Hollis; Miss McGree d. Miss ilelinek; Mrs. Clark d. Mrs. Woodrow; Mrs. Vickers d. Mrs. Lee; Mrs. Brown d. Mrs. Tureia; Mrs. Williams d. Miss Winter. The draw for the match for Mrs. Lunken’s trophy is as .follows:—Miss Lane and Mrs. Pere; Miss Carr and Miss Wells; Miss Bird and Miss L. Haisman; Miss McKenzie and Mrs. McDonald. Members of C section are reminded that the matches for Mrs. Hall’s trophy must be played this week-end.
