(Herald Correspondent.) Mrs. M. A. Brereton, Manawatu Heads, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Richardson, school residence, Te Reinga.—Dr. W. Taylor, senior dental officer, Hamilton, visited the Te Reinga school in connection with a project to establish a dental clinic in the district. —Mr. R. A. Spence is-a patient in the Wairoa hospital.

Over 2iin. of rain fell in 48 hours this week, and both the Hangaroa and RuakHuri Rivers were in flood. The Te Reinga Falls are attracting a number of visitors travelling between Wairoa and Gisborne.
