WIDER AGE LIMITS

SPECIAL N.Z. CASES ENLISTMENT PERMITTED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. It'was announced by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jonhs, last night that there had been no general increase in the maximum age limits for enlistment in the Special Force. In special cases, however, officers and non-commissioned officers were toeing accepted up to ages five years beyond .those originally announced. The effect of this was that the maximum age for enlistment for privates and gunners was 35 years, for noncommissioned officers 40 years, for subiaHerns 35 years, for captains 10 years, for majors 45 years, and for lieutenant-colonels 50 years.
