BRITISH WOOL DEMAND
MAXIMUM PRICES AMPLE OFFERING (Klee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 2(5, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 25. The Wool Control Board announces that the Government requires a considerable quantity of wool at maximum prices, subject to such additions as may be made thereto when the control board lakes over supplies. This should relieve the reluctance of trader* to sell. The International Wool Secretariat denies a rumour that stocks are inadequate and states that the supply side is fully adequate to cope with the demands of belligerent and neutral nations.
