RETURNS OF SECURITIES
TIME LIMIT EXTENDED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 25. By an order made by the Treasury the owners of certain specified securities were directed to make a return of their holdings to the Bank of England by Tuesday. By an amending order the period during which the return must be made has now been extended to October 9. The securities specified in the original order were securities in respect of which principal, interest or dividends are payable in the currency of any of the following countrise: Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Holland, Dutch East Indies, Norway, Sweden, Switerland, U.S.A. or, in respect of which the holder has an option, to require the payment of principal, interest or dividends in the currency of any of those countries GUM ARABIC, in large or small quantities, for sale at Herald Jobbing Department.
