P.B. KENNEL CLUB COCKER SPANIELS STRONG GOOD FINANCIAL POSITION The strong advance made by the club in the year under review was commented on by the chairman, Mr. G. E. Law, at the annual meeting oi the Poverty Bay Kennel Club, held in Le Grand Cafe. There was a good attendance of members. The balance sheet showed a surplus of £l9 -14 s 5d for the year’s working, the assets including £4O 18s 8d in cash. The excess of income over expenditure was £l9 14s sd. A pleasing rise in the quality of the dogs, shown was commented on by the chairman, Mr. Law pointing out that the rise was a general one. Cocker spaniels especially were now very strong in the Bay, Mrs. E. Wells, Miss 11. Barker and Mr. O. J Elliot having imported first class dogs from overseas
