ATTACK ON WARDERS

TWO MEN INJURED

(Reed. Sept. 26. 9 a.m.) HOBART. Sept. 25,

Prisoners in the I-lobart gaol attacked the warders and damaged the .prison property during a demonstration.

A warder was taken to hospital suffering from serious head injuries, and a prisoner was shot and wounded in the leg.

The disturbance was quelled without outside help. Many of the gaol windows were broken.
