EX-SOLDIERS’ SUPPORT EXECUTIVE ACTIVE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. “The Dominion executive of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association is unanimously in favour of ‘wet’ canteens,” said the Dominion president, the Hon. W. Perry, M.L.C., when a telegram which stated that the Auckland branch was urging the establishment of “wet” canteens was referred to him. Other branches of the association also are taking an interest in the welfare of the men on service and, in subjects that require approach to the Government, are referring their opinions to Dominion headquarters for the parent body to act.
