OIL FOR RAYON
MEXICAN-ITALIAN TRADE

Italy has contracted for increased shipments of oil In exchange for rayon.. The amount of the increase is not known, but is described as “very considerable.”
Italy is at present Mexico’s best customer for oil. She bought 3,250,000 barrels from January to August this year, compared with Germany’s (i,300,000.
The Russian support of Germany is likely to result in Mexican antiCommunist measures. A bill has been presented to the deputies reoniring Mexican Communists to sever all ties with the Moscow Third Internationale, on penalty of outlawry.
