Karitane, Greymouth and Westport, September 20. Wainui, southern ports, October 2. COASTAL TRADE The Wainui, which is loading for Gisborne and Napier, is expected to leave BlulV to-day, Dunedin to-mor-rcivvi Oa'mnru and Timaru on Wednesday and Lyttelton on Thursday, thence’ Wellington. The vessel is due at Gisborne about Monday next. The Karitane. with coal, timber and posts from Greymouth and Westport, was exbected to leave Westport yesterday for Napier, where she is due to-morrow. The vessel should leave Napier on Thursday, arriving here on Friday. The Pukeko, which loaded cement, at Portland on Saturday, takes in wool packs at Auckland to-day. The vessel' discharges cement at Gisborne on Wednesday and sails the same day for Nanier to finish unloading. The Kopara loads at Auckland today and to-morrow for Coast bays, Gisborne and Naoier. The ship arrives here on Thursday to discharge general cargo. The Margaret W. loads at Auckland to-day and to-morrow for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. She arrives here on Thursday. The Pakura, from Lyttelton, completes loading at Wellington to-day for Napier, Waikokopu, Gisborne and ihe Coast. The vessel is due here on Thursday. MOTOR-SHIP FOXTON SOLD The South Taranaki Shipping Company, Limited, Patea, has bought the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company’s motor-ship Foxton, and will use it in the Wellington-Patea trade. Built in Auckland in 1929 by G. T. Niccol, the Foxton is a wooden twinscrew vessel of 224 tons gross. Specially designed for the Lyttelton-Foxton trade, the ship has a deadweight carrying capacity of 320 tons on a draught of 7ft. 9in. Her service speed is nine knots. Captain J. K. McKin|rori, formerly of the Kapuni, is master of the Foxton.
