The Geraldine Racing Club's spring meeting was concluded on Saturday in overcast weather. Rain overnight made the track soft. The attendance was good. Lady Don was disqualified for that race and also for the second day. The owner, Mr. G. R. Hunter, was fined £5 for a breach of the rule. King was also fined £5. As a result of St. Cloud being declared the winner of tire Dhapi Hack Handicap, he became ineligible to run in the Wainui Handicap on Saturday. Results: —
