The Geraldine Racing Club's spring meeting was concluded on Saturday in overcast weather. Rain overnight made the track soft. The attendance was good. The totalisalor handled £11,397 10s against £14,280 10s on the second daylast year, making the total tor the meeting £19,271 against £23,681 last year, a drop of £4410. At an inquiry by the judicial committee as to the rightful trainer ot Lady Don, the committee decided that Rule 143, paragraph (a) had been broken. Because the horse had been trained by R. W. King, an unlicensed man, they decided to award the stake for the Ohapi Hack Handicap, run on the first day, to St. Cloud, the runnerup. Lady Don was disqualified for that race and also for the second day. The owner, Mr. G. R. Hunter, was fined £5 for a breach of the rule. King was also fined £5. As a result of St. Cloud being declared the winner of tire Dhapi Hack Handicap, he became ineligible to run in the Wainui Handicap on Saturday. Results: —
