A Paris message quotes a French communique which states that there was a quiet day along the entne front. Official photographs in the French press show that France has a new light tank. A message from Basle states that French and British warplanes were busy throughout the day protecting the movements of troops against German observation planes. Both sides are reserving bombers for mass attacks. Paris reports that the French naval forces continue effectively to assure the protection of convoys and beat off enemy submarines.
