NEW ZEALAND UNIT
FORMATION IN ENGLAND (Reed. Sept. 22, 1 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 21. A communique from the Ministry of Information states that more than 500 New Zealanders resident in Britainhave registered for war service. The New Zealand High Commissioner in London. Mr. \V. J. Jordan, has announced that New Zealanders can be enrolled in one unit and trained in England before joining the main body of the New Zealand forces DOMINION PLANS (Per Proas Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Confirming the cabled report that a New Zealand volunteer unit was being trained in Britain, the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, said to-day that arrangements had been made for the organisation of New Zealanders in Britain who were medically fit to be formed into a New Zealand military unit,
