RUGBY UNION’S PLEDGE
. SUPPORT IN CRISIS (Por Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Rugby Union council has conveyed to the Government the utmost support and allegiance of the players and officials and expressed appreciation to the clubs for the way that members have responded to the call to enlist. Forty-minute spells would be played in the ’ inter-island matches and the AH Black trials.
