RECORD EXPECTED BETTER DAIRY PRODUCE (E]<‘c. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 22, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 21. Notwithstanding war conditions, the Melbourne Royal Show, which opened to-day, will continue for the next 10 days, and is expected to be a record success, Entries in all sections are a record, and it is hoped that the attendances will make a new record by exceeding 500,000. The show will also be open each night. Some of the entry figures are, 1250 horses, 1000 in the best breeds of British sheep, 1000 cattle, 600 pigs, 1000 dogs, and 1600 poultry. Judging began to-day but will not be completed till the week-end.

While a great improvement is noted in the cheese and butter, the judges said they had not yet reached overseas standards.
