POWER BOARD DECISION Whether the board should proceed with the erection of additional ofhcc and store space at Otorohanga in view of the outbreak of war was discussed at a meeting of the Waitomo ElectricPower Board. An order-in-council was received authorising the raising of £2OOO loan money for this purpose. The engineer said the building was required, but if necessary the board could make shift for a time as had been done in the past. The board resolved to obtain the opinion of the controller of electricity. Mr. F. T. M. Kissel, as to whether this work should proceed.
