DEMAND FOR EXTRA STOCK CATTLE FROM HAST COAST With the improved weather in the Waikato during the past few weeks and the consequent growth of spring feed, many graziers are attempting to obtain supplementary stock. More rain, however, is required before Iho necessary growth can take place, Several mobs of East Coast cattle are reported to be on their way to the Waikato, The mobs consist mainly of grown steers, and these will be fob lowed later by forward-conditioned cows and heifers. There are more Waikato store cattle offering at the sales this year than in previous years, the offerings consisting mainly of young cattle.
