ATTACKS IN CHINA
RESUMPTION BY JAPAN DRIVE FOR CHANGSHA (Reed. Sept. 20, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 19. A message from Hong Kong states that Chinese headquarters at Kiangsi report that powerful artillery prepared the way for attacks 25 miles south-west of Nanchang.
It also is stated that the Japanese resumed attacks in the Yangtse Valley west of Yockow, this suggesting a two-way drive to Changsha.
