WAR INSURANCE RISKS TANKERS HELD UP (Reed. Sept. 19, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 17. Six American merchant ships are still delayed in connection with the war risk’dispute. Forty-six of the 66 seamen brought from Britain to work the twb Standard Oil tankers to Britain refused to sail unless they are granted extra pay and war risk insurance. The Maritime Union is supporting the claims of the Britons who are subject to deportation if they do not sail with the tankers.
