DETAINED NEUTRAL SHIP
GERMAN FIGURES DENTED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.20 p.m. RUGBY. Sepl. 17. A German broadcast lrom Zcesen, at 8 p.m. on September 1C stated that 170 neutral ships were under detention at British ports. The Ministry of Information states officially that'actually the number of ships under detention at contraband control stations in the British Isles was 33 at 9.30 a.m. on September 1C and 25 at 9.80 a.m. this, Sunday, morning.
