28 AMERICANS LOST
SINKING OF ATHENIA (Reed. Sept. 19, 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 18. The State Department has published the names of 11 males and 17 females who are missing among the American passengers bn the sunken liner Athenia.
The statement does not mention the cause of the sinking.
