Cook County Women’s Guild
The monthly meeting of the Cook County Women’s Guild was Held :a the Parish Hall, Derby street, those present being Mesdames H. G. Wellbourne, chairman, A. F. Hall, W. M. Jenkins, I. J. Quigley, J. E. Newton, H. Gilmer, W. Neal, H. Holmes, J. W. Fergie, Scott, Wise, T. H. Garrett and T. Munro, and the matron of Ho.ii Ma'teroa Children’s Home, Miss Spooner. In her report the matron stated that the children in the home numbered 21 and all were in good health. A generous parcel of handmade garments had been received from the Holy Trinity Girls’ Bible Class. Mesdames Scott and Hall were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing month.
