DEATH OF NOVELIST

ETHEL M. DELL PASSES (Reed. Sept. 19, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18. The death has occurred of Ethel M. Dell, the well-known novelist. Miss Dell, who married LieutenantColonel G. T. Savage in 1922, had much success with her novels, particularly among women readers. She came before public notice in 1912, when “The Way of An Eagle” was published from her pen, and then followed a series of popular novels for more than 25 years.
