One of the majcii* matters receiving attention was the financial legislation to be introduced providing resources for the conduct of. New Zealand's war effort. The acting-Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, was asked if a bill would be introduced to-day. He replied that he was not then in a position to say definitely when the legislation would be ready for presentation, nor could he indicate when the session, would end. ,1 There is, however, a strong feeling in the lobbies that ail business would bo completed on Friday ij; Saturday.
