PINNED UNDER TRACTOR. A double fracture of the leg was suffered by Gordon Wood, of Shannon, when the tractor he was driving overturned and he was pinned beneath it. Owing to the soft nature of the earth Mr. Wood’s leg was forced into the ground, and it was necessary to dig around it to extricate him. The injured man was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital.
