The lorry backed up t o the ship’s side is being loaded with mutton and lamb, whilst the lorry on the right is awaiting its turn. By this method it was estimated that the Port Bowen would, be relieved of her cargo in the next two weeks, but bad weather has driven the ship further up the beach and destroyed part of the ramp.
