TE KARAKA HIGH SCHOOL

At the monthly meeting of the Tf Karaka District High School '-Committee, there were present. Mr. C Mills, chairman, Mrs. R. Stephenson. Messrs. T. L. Earnshaw, T. M. Askew, C. G. Atkins, S. S. Smithers,' RStcphenson, J. W. Nisbelt, and P. Hardacrc.

The headmaster, Mr. R. N. Grono, reported that the 'school was visited last week by the Education Board’s inspectors. ' The Waikobu primary schools sports meeting,had been fixed for September 22.

It was decided to hold the school ball on October li. and to admit all school children free of charge.

A contract was signed for the supply of cinematograph films for sclipoi use.
