The half-time score was six-all. Otago’s points came from a penalty goal by Trcvalhnn and an unconverted try by Pcrriam, and North Otago gained two penalty goals kicked by Easton. In the second spell, for Otago, Murray scored a try, which was converted by Pcrriam, who also kicked a penalty goal, and a field goal by Trevathan. For North Otago, Green scored a try which was converted by Easton. .Easton’s fielding was not up to the usual form, but his line-kicking and tackling were features of the game.
