Prices at the national Jersey bull sale at Claudelands were considered very satisfactory in view of the international situation. For two days 131 bulls were sold, the total realisation being 4082gn5.. and the average price 31gns. The top price was llOgns., paid by Mr. T. Wardiaw, Waimana, for Noku Wanderer. a two-year-old. sold on account ot the Into Sir Truby King, New Plymouth. The auctioneers were Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited.
