PHYSICAL INJURY
GRANTS FOR CIVILIANS
(Reed. Sept. 16, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15.
A Ministry of Information communique states that the Minister of Pensions has introduced a scheme Of grants in respect to physical injury to civilians as a result of warlike operations. The rates are, broadly, the same as those applicable to private soldier. The maximum is £1 12s 6d for a single man and £1 2? (id for women.
Married persons will receive additional allowances for wives and children.
