FOUND BY MOTHER
LOST GIRL IN LONDON CHANGE IN MILLIONS LONDON. Aug. 1. Mrs. West, of Slough, who came to London to look for her missing daughter, came face to face with her in Hyde Park, a millions to- one chance. The girl, 10-year-old Gwyneth West, of Victoria place, Chalvey, Slough, left home on her bicycle oil Friday. Police were informed. Her mother and father searched Reading, Maidenhead, Wycombe, and Windsor, but in vain.
Mrs. West decided to search in London. For two days she stood for hours in the Strand, Piccadilly, Regent street, and Oxford street, scanning the faces of the passers-by.
She began to think her task was hopeless, and went into Hyde Park to rest, and there she met her daughter.
The girl hacl run away because she was scared about a trifling cscaoade. She had been trying to get work iri London, and like her mother, had gone into Hyde Park because she was tired and dispirited.
