REMOVAL OF BODIES
ILL-FATED SQUALUS (Reed. Sept. 16, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. A message from Portsmouth,. New Hampshire, states that the first of the 26 bodies have been removed from the United States submarine, Squaius. Salvage workers said that si ire oi the bodies were seen aft in the engine-room .and others aft in the torpedo-room grouped around the ladder leading to the hatch.
