“Members again have been prompt :n paying their subscriptions, and this ms helped considerably in placing the dub's finances on a satisfactory foot"ig. A considerable sum was spent 'uring. the year on new-gear, and at he close of last season such repairs as were needed were carried out, 'caving all gear in first-class order for the commencement of the new season. •“Each of the three teams entered in the competitions acquitted itself exeedingly well and played good, bright cr'ckct throughout the season. The s nior A team, which finished the orevious season runners-up in its "radc, annexed the senior A grade championship after the most exciting final matches ever likely to be witnessed. Both senior B grade teams played at top form throughout, the senior B second division team emerging winners in its grade, and the first division team, although throwing away one or two games through overeagerness to score, did very well to finish runners-up in that grade. “CongratulaMons are due to all its nlavers for the splendid enthusiasm and co-operation shown throughout the season. “During the season a handsome trophy was donated by Mr. S. K.
