N.Z. DAFFODIL SHOW

CHAMPION AWARDS (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. There were record entries in the national daffodil show held at Hastings yesterday. In the national classes, open, A. Gibson wOn .the Trevena trophy. H. J. Poole won the other four classes. In the open New Zealand seedling, W. E. Weightman won all eight classes. in the single blooms, A. Gib Son. H. J. Poole and W. E. Weightman shared honours. In the national amateur, Mrs. J. Mercer won the championship medal. The champion of champions was W. E. Weightman’s Incomparabilis. Other championship winners were W, Danby and H. J. Poote. Entries came from all parts of the North Island.
