To-morrow in the quarter-finals, Bromwich will meet Hunt, Hopman plays Riggs, McNeill meets Joe Hunt, and Sabin plays Van Horn. In the women’s singles Miss H. Jacobs defeated Miss N. Brown, G—2, 6—2; Miss K Stammers defeated Miss Workman, 6—l, 4—6, 7—5; Miss Valerie Scott defeated Miss Bernhard, •I—6, 6—2, 7—5; Miss D. Bundy defeated Miss Hammcrsley, 6 —l, 6—4.
