SALVATIONIST APPEAL
SUM OF £150,000 SOUGHT MINISTRY. TO TROOPS (Reed. Sept. 15, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. General Evangeline Booth, head of the Salvation Army, appealed for £150,000 for work among the forces. “As in the Great War,” said General Booth, “the Salvation Army will accompany the armed forces in the field, ministering day and night to their physical and spiritual needs.”
