LANDING BY JAPANESE
MOTOR BARGES SUNK CHINESE RESISTANCE (Reed. Sept. 15, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. The Hong Kong correspondent of The Times states that the Japanese made a breach in . the Wangmoon boom and landed on both banks of the creek. The Chinese peasant militia is resisting fiercely. Several Japanese motor barges were sunk. A Shanghai message states that Chow Hung-Ching, the High Court superintendent under the Japanesesponsored Government of Wuhan city, was shot dead by an unknown gunman.
