RAIDS ON OPEN TOWNS PROTEST BY POLAND ENVOYS IN DUGOUT PERSIST ENT ATTACKS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 14, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. A report from Warsaw states that the Polish Government has drawn the attention of the Governments of all civilised States to the bombing of open towns in Poland, stating that it was carried out systematically on places possessing no military importance whatever.

Poland also states that Germans, dressed in Polish uniforms, are landing by means of parachutes behind the lines acting as the fifth column. A message from Paris states that the newspaper L'lnformation reports the bombing of Krzemienice where the diplomatic corps accredited to Poland .are stationed temporarily. It is said that members of the corps, led by Mbnsignor Cortcsi, Papal Nuncio, took refuge in a dugout. It is learned that each Government separately will protest against the bombing of an open town.

A dispatch from Lwow states that the Germans continued to bomb civilians. Lwow was raided 12 times yesterday. The alarms were sounded uninterruptedly for eight hours. Luck and Lublin were also raided Lublii was greatly damaged. An evacuation train going to Lwow from Warsaw was stopped 72 times to permit passengers to disembark to avoid the bombing.
