DEFENCE EXPENDITURE
VAST INCREASE IN BRITAIN (Reed. Sept. 14, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 13. The week’s return of 'British revenue reflects the vastly-increased defence expenditure. The supply services rise from £11.747.000 a year ago to £20,006,000. The week’s deficit rises from £2,900,000 to £12,020,000.
