Matakaoa Road Classified

The Matakaoa section of the Gisborne-Opotiki, via East Coast, main highway has been classified iu class three, according to a recent Gazette notice. This makes the road available for the use of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multiaxled heavy motor-vehicle), which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than seven tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle, which when carrying a load has an axle weight of not more than 44 tons on any one axle.
