AUSTRALIAN APPOINTMENT (Reed. Sept. 12, 2 p.m.) CANBERRA, Sept. 12.
The Prime Minister, Mr. R. G. Menzies, announced to-day that Captain G. B. Williams, president of the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales, had been appointed Controller of Shipping.
