ARMED ROBBERY CHARGE

YOUNG MEN REMANDED (P«r Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A charge of robbery while armed with a revolver was preferred against John McDonald, aged 21. a steward, and Horace Timothy O'Connor, aged 17, a labourer, in the Police Court to-day before Mr. J. L. Stout. S.M.

The offence was alleged to have occurred at Wellington on August 1 and a rema»nd for a week was granted. The police said the two accused were at present awaiting sentence in the Supreme Court for an offence of a similar nature committed at Hastings.
