FRONTIER SAFEGUARDS REFUGEE POLISH TROOPS MILLION EXPECTED CHANGING RADIO' BIAS (Elee. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Sept. 12, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 11. A message from. Moscow quotes the Soviet paper Pravda, which says that Russia is concentrating troops on her Western Frontier to protect Russia against Polish soldiers who may be attempting to retreat over the border. Partial mobilisation is due to the expectation of the need for disarming and interning as many as 1,000,000 Poles.

Analysing' the situation, the Pravda said: “Poland is as good as lost, since the most important military and economic centres are in the hands of the Germans, the Government is disorganised and the military lacks powerful fortifications. Moreover, the Allies have not yet supplied effective assistance.”

A broadcast from Moscow intercepted in London stated that many German warplanes are flying over Berlin on the way to the Western Front. Many troops are moving from Poland' towards France.

It was noted that when the Russian language w’as used the tone of the broadcast favoured England and France, but the broadcast in German favoured Germany.
