COASTAL TRADE The Wainui, which is loading at southern ports for Gisborne and Napier, left Dunedin yesterday and works Oamaru and Timnru to-day. and Lyttelton to-morrow, thence Wellington. The vessel is due at Gisborne about Monday next.

The Karitanc, which is loading coal at West Coast ports for Napier and Gisborne, is expected to leave Greymouth to-morrow and Westport on Thursday. The steamer is due at Gisborne about September 20. The Pakura cleared Wellington yesterday for Napier and Gisborne, and is due here on Thursday to discharge Lyttelton and Wellington cargo. The vessel will leave Gisborne the same day for Wellington to load again for Napier and Gisborne.

The Pukeko sails from Auckland to-night for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier, arriving here on Thursday. The Margaret W. completes at Auckland to-night for Tokomaru Bay. Tolagn Bay and Gisborne.. The vessel is due at Gisborne on Thursday. The scow Altair left Gisborne last evening for Auckland, where she loads benzine for Gisborne.

MAORI LAID UP. The Union Company’s Maori has withdrawn from the WellingtonLyttelton service and has been laid up at the Patent Slip, Wellington.
