UNTEIiINC! IIIVEII While entering Foxton port on Saturday morning the motor-vessel Hokidka, laden with coal for discharge at Foxton, ran ashore on the south side of the Manawatu River mouth. The vessel is inside the bar and should be refloated without difficulty. The cause of the stranding has not been announced. The Hokitika is a twin-screw ketch of 205 tons and was built of wood in 1916 by J.'McGregor and Company, Dunedin. She is owned by the Eclipse Shipping Company, Limited, and was formerly known as the Waipu.
