Garage and Car Burnt

A garage and motor car in. Seapoint road, Napier, owned by Mr. L. B. Fleming, architect to the Hawke's Bay 'Education Board, were destroyed by fire. The fire was first noticed by Mr, Fleming’s daughter, but when he reached the garage ho found the interior was a mass of flames _ and •smoko, and because of the position in which.the car was parked it was impossible to remove it. The fire brigade was summoned, but all the fire■men were able to do was to prevent the fames from reaching adjacent buildings.
