DOMINION BAND CONTEST
DECISION OF ST. KILDA WILL NOT PARTICIPATE (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. St. Kilda Municipal, champion quickstep band of New Zealand, has decided that, in view of the prevailing conditions created by the outbreak of war, it will not be a participant in the New Zealand brass band championship to be held in Wellington next February. St. Kilda has attended Ihe championships for an unbroken period of 19 years.
