INTERNED IN BELGIUM

WELLINGTON AIRMAN FORCED LANDING(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. News has been received from the Air Ministry by Mr. C. W. Mack, Wellington, that his only son, PilotOfficer Arthur William Mack, has been interned in Belgium following a forced landing on Saturday. Pilot-Officer Mack was well known in Wellington. He attended Wellington College and afterwards played Rugby ancl cricket for College Old Boys' Club and was a member of the Star Boating Club. After receiving flying training at Rongotai as a member of the Wellington Aero Club he Xvent to England to join the Royal Air Force about iwo years ago and, according to the latest advice from him, he was a member of the heavy bomber squadron. He is 23 years old.
