NEW MODERN HEARSE

Congratulations will be extended to Mr. T. N. Cochrane for his enterprise in again coming to the fore, in adding to his already efficient plant, a new modern and dignified hearse. It will be remembered Mr. Cochrane erected a fine chapel and introduced in New Zealand the first casket lowering device, which set a high standard of efficiency and service, and which has been largely followed by the more progressive funeral directors in New Zealand. The latest addition to this already up to date plant is this fine hearse. Having inspected the most recent coach work in Auckland and Wellington, and being assured that this class of job could not be done outside these centres. Mr. Cochrane finally decided to support local industry. This classic coach work was entrusted to Mr. MeCuiloin ■' "id every detail including all panel boating was done in this •"oritshop nod is a real credit to the builder. Mr. Cochrane felt that the old practice against giving classic work to local men is now a day of the past and that no better work can be done in New Zealand. Not only is the price competitive but also the time of delivery has been in the Gisborne man’s favour. Any persons or firms who are interested in supporting the bodybuilding and panel beating trades bv our local tradesmen would be well advised to inspect this classic work.
