OVERSEAS SERVICE INQUIRIES IN DUNEDIN (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The appeal for 6GOO recruits for New Zealand or overseas service had a quick response in Dunedin, for as early as Friday night, only a few hours after the appeal was made by ‘he Defence Department, officials were rung up by men wanting to make sure that they would be in the first GOOO.
